Who We Are

Professional Electricians

S & L Electric serves customers in the State of New York, and has been serving the North Country for over 40 years. The President, Leo Villeneuve, started the company with the support of his wife, Sandra , the "S" in S & L. He started out in 1978, with two employees and a small office inside his home. Over the years, it has expanded into a strong organization of up to 200 employees at our busiest times and up to an average of $16 Million a year in sales.

Our Expertise

S & L Electric offers designing, installation, engineering, fire alarm, fiber optics, and security services.

Our employees are the best trained electricians in the world, receiving a minimum of 900 hours of classroom training over a 5-year period. Training includes history and structure of the IBEW and NECA, first aid, safety, CPR, tools and material, AC-DC theory, fire alarm, motors and control, programmable logic controllers, conduit bending, process control, blueprint reading and much more.
